How It Works

1. Book an Appointment

At Juniper Lane, all consignment is by appointment only so we can give your items the attention they deserve.

Appointments are available on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Choose the appointment that best fits your needs:

1. Quick Drop (5 Items or Less)

Perfect for: Small batches, testing the process, or bringing in a few standout pieces.

This 10–15 minute appointment is for consignors with 5 items or fewer. We’ll review your pieces on the spot and let you know what we can take.

2. Standard Appointment (Up to 30 Items)

Perfect for: Closet clean-outs and seasonal refreshes.

This full appointment allows you to bring in up to 30 carefully curated items.

We’ll review each piece during your appointment and return anything we can’t accept that same day.

| ⏰ Appointments typically take 30-45 minutes.

3. Large Drop-Off Appointment (Up to 60 Items)

Perfect for: Major wardrobe overhauls or bulk consignments.

For this option, you can drop off up to 60 items at your scheduled time.

Our team will review your items after your appointment and contact you within 1 business day with acceptance details.

Unaccepted items will be held for pickup or can be donated at your discretion.

2. Prepare Your Items

Please bring your items freshly laundered, neatly folded, and organized in bins or bags (no hangers, please).
We only accept items that are clean, odor-free, and ready to sell.

All items must be:

  • Clean and freshly laundered (no odors, stains, or pet hair)
  • Free from damage (no holes, missing buttons, broken zippers, fading, or pilling)
  • Seasonally appropriate
  • In excellent resale condition

Seasonal Standards

We only accept seasonally appropriate items during each intake window.

Season Intake Months

Spring: February – April

Summer: May – July

Fall: August – October

Winter: November – January

3. Review & Selection

During your appointment, our team will review your items and select what best fits Juniper Lane's aesthetic, brand mix, and customer demand.

Unaccepted items will be returned to you immediately.

*If a Large Drop-Off Appointment you can choose wether you would like unaccepted items returned or donated.

4. Get Paid

When your items sell, you’ll receive a percentage of the final sale price based on our profit split structure. (See in FAQs)

What You Need to Know

Profit Split & Payouts

  • Standard Consignment: 40% of the final sale price goes to you(+10% if Store Credit Payout)
  • High-End Designer Items: May qualify for a higher split depending on value and demand
  • Luxury Goods: Must include proof of authenticity

Payouts:

  • Issued monthly via store credit(+10%) or ACH Payment
  • If you want to change your payout method at any time send us an email!
  • You’ll receive a statement showing what sold and your earnings

Consignment Terms

Items are consigned for 90 days once put on the floor*

You will be notified by email when your consignment period is ending.

If an item does not sell within this period you will have 14 days to retrieve it.

Items not retrieved after notice and 14 day period will be considered abandoned and become store property.

No-Show Policy

No-Shows will result in a $5 fee

If absence is communicated the fee is waived. Just give us an email or call!

  • Items outside this list may still be accepted if they meet our quality standards
  • *True vintage pieces from fast-fashion brands may be considered
  • Luxury brands must have proof of authenticity (receipt or authentication certificate)

  • Footwear (clean, gently worn)
  • Handbags, jewelry, belts, and small accessories

| ❌ We do not accept home décor, children’s clothing, or formalwear (suits, gowns, tuxedos)
